P90X Workout Schedule

By Anthony Riali

The P90X workout schedule is designed to work different muscle groups in your body so that you define and tone your entire physique. In order to get this right they have designed routines that combat different areas of the body and this is what makes it work so well. There are 12 different workouts and they are as follows:

Workout 1 begins with a variety of push and pull-ups. Getting these going means that you will be working the muscles in your upper body and focusing your efforts on your arm and neck muscles. Workout 2 follows with what they call Plyometrics. This exercise routine is basically entails jumping around and constantly trying to keep your body in the air. Once this is over, the program moves onto the 3 workout sessions which focus on the arm muscles. By using exercises which involve curling, pressing and flying, you will be using and toning various muscles within your arms.

Yoga is the focus of workout 4 and it allows you to gain balance, strength and coordination even though this form of exercise does not seem very intense. This will not only help you to tone your body but it will also help you during your proceeding workout routines. Workout 5 focuses entirely on the legs. You will see just how your legs are transformed through lunges, squats and a variety of other exercises.

Workout 6 is called Kenpo X and this is a basic form of a martial art. You will be required to kick, box and use basic defense techniques in order to get your blood pumping. This adds a touch of excitement to any exercise routine. Once this is over you will then move on to workout 7 which concentrates on stretching. Stretching is important for many reasons and it will help you to abstain from getting injured during your rigorous exercise sessions.

Core Synergistics is the focus of workout 8 and this is all about strengthening your core through a variety of fun exercises. Workout 9 follows shortly after this and focuses on your upper body strength by building muscles in your chest and arms. Workout 10 returns to your upper body and allows men to bulk up and women to tone using light weights. Workout 11 is a cardio workout used by people for fat burning purposes and it can be used whether you are interested in the entire program or not. Many people simply choose to buy this DVD separately so that they can have all of the advantages of the DVD without purchasing the entire program.

Workout 12 concentrates on your abs. This DVD is called the Ab Ripper and it guarantees that you will have fine toned abs after you have completed the 11 exercises within the program. If you are strict on yourself and you use this program for the full 90 days then you should see the most amazing results. Dedication and commitment are necessary to get the intended results but, if you are unhappy with them in any way, you can simply return the DVD for a full refund within the 90 day period.
